Presentation
To be fair to Pragmatic Play, I don't really think that slots development companies have any idea on how to present a slot based on Leprechauns and/or Ireland in any other way than having some Irish folk music playing the background, with rolling green hills under a blue sky and lucky Leprechauns leaping about with their pots of gold lying all around them.
So yes, this isn't the most original in terms of presentation but I suppose the adage 'if it isn't broken, then don't fix it' tends to be a decent rule to follow here. People obviously like this sort of game given the popularity of them, so why change a winning formula?
The graphics are bright, cheerful and eye-catching and look great, especially on higher definition screens. The animations are also well done and the music is typically Irish, but is perhaps a little nondescript and it isn't a tune that you will pick up and hum along to being brutal. Indeed, it could be a slot that sees you reach for the mute button before too long.
The Leprechaun sat on the top of the reels to the left is a nice touch. Keep your eye on him too as when he blows his horn, you can trigger some of the random bonus features of the game.
So while not being the most original, the presentation is still nicely done and does put a smile on your face.
What's on the reels?
There is a total of nine different standard symbols on the reels and they start with the five playing card symbols, 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace. These are the lower value symbols of the nine and offer pays from just 1/5 of your total bet up to 10x your total bet.
The higher value symbols on the reels are all something to do with leprechauns and Ireland somewhat obviously. These are the pint of Guinness, a pipe which has a four-leafed clover growing out of the bowl, a leprechaun's green hat and lastly, a rather cheerful looking leprechaun.
