Presentation
The presentation of the Scuba Fishing slot is actually very good. The animations on the reels and backdrop are very nice, with bubbles drifting to the surface between the reels, a school of fish darting around and the diver with his camera floating to the left of the reels, alongside two jellyfish. Keep your eye out too for the shark, which puts in an occasional appearance too.

What's on the reels?
There are a total of nine different symbols that can appear on the reels in the game. These range from the lower value items which are the different colored anemone and a clam shell which offer wins of either 8 coins of 12 coins when you land three across the reels.
The fish items are the higher paying symbols. The red and green fish offer 20 coin payouts, the puffer fish is a 30 coin win, the yellow and blue fish is an 80 coin win while the larger swordfish is the biggest value standard symbol with a 200 coin win available.
What is nice is that each of the symbols can appear stacked on the reels and as a result, this can lead to multiple wins across the reels, and when this happens you can turn a relatively small win into a much larger one, especially if the Wild symbol is involved.
Wild features
The Wild symbol is the Shark and this only appears on the middle reel of the slot. The Wild is stacked three-high and as you would expect, when you land the symbol, it can be used to substitute for any of the other lower value symbols to help create a winning line.
Land the Wild on the middle reel and it will turn completely Wild and then award you your payout. However, you then trigger the only other bonus feature in the slot, your Free Re-Spin.
Free Spins features
The Free Re-Spin occurs when you land the stacked Shark Wild on the middle reel. When you do, after your initial spin is paid out you receive one Free Re-Spin, which spins the two outer reels and you can land another win, with the Shark Wild remaining in place on the middle reel. This feature can be the source of a sizeable additional win, especially if you can land the higher value symbols on the first and third reel.
Once your Free Re-Spin is completed, the diver takes a picture of the winning reels and the shark leaps out of the middle reel and chases off after the diver. Quite why were not sure, but it is a nice touch. This feature does trigger relatively frequently, although the size of wins you can land are somewhat variable.

Best feature of the Scuba Fishing slot
Although I really like the presentation, I think the Wild bonus feature and the Free Re-Spin that follows it is what makes the Scuba Fishing slot most exciting. The Wild is the key to the bigger value wins, especially when you can land stacked symbols either side of it. Wins are very variable in size though, so not every winner is a big one, but as a lower to medium variance slots, those lower value wins do add up over time and mean this is a slot which isn't going to take too big a shark bite out of your finances.
What does the Scuba Fishing slot lack?
With just one Free Re-Spin in the game, there is a lack of Free Spins in the Scuba Fishing slot, but with 27-lines in play and stacked symbols on the reels, I can see why offering a number of Free Spins would make this slot rather too generous in the eyes of the developers, so although this slot doesn't have Scatter symbols or other bonuses, I feel what it does have means it is still an enjoyable slot in its own right anyway.
