What's on the reels?

The paytable to the Winsanity slot displays clearly the different symbols on the reels in the game and there are relatively few of them. The lowest value standard symbols are the lucky 7 symbol and after that there are four different Bar symbols, single, double, treble and quadruple.

These offer wins for three of each type of Bar symbol, plus you can land any three across the reels for a smaller value win. The only other symbol on the reels alongside these are the Wild Multipliers, which we will explore in more detail below.

Wild features

The one and only feature on the Winsanity slot is the Wild Multiplier symbols. There are three different types of Wild Multiplier symbol. A 2x Wild Multiplier which appears on the first reel, a 4x Wild Multiplier which appears on the second and a 6x Wild Multiplier which is on the third reel.

When landed singly, you receive the benefit of a Wild symbol plus the multiplier landed attributed to your win, but it is when you land two or more of the Wild Multipliers that things get interesting as the multipliers will combine. Land all three and you can win the maximum base game jackpot of 1,000x your stake.

As the only real bonus feature of the Winsanity slot, the Wild Multipliers are the best aspect of the game by a distance and in truth, they are the only aspect of the game that are going to make it appealing for you to play, especially when you can land them in combination of twos or more. In truth, without these bonuses there would not be much of a slot game to enjoy as they are a fundamental aspect of the game.

What does the Winsanity slot lack?

Although this is set up like a retro styled slot, the Winsanity slot needs a little more variability to the game play. I also feel that the RTP at below 95%, is something that is very discouraging to players when playing the game. That's a shame as the Wild Multipliers can pay out some good value bonuses but you need to have a bit of patience to get the better of them.

Conclusion

The Winsanity slot is a retro styled slot in many respects but the Wild Multiplier aspect makes it a more modern game and the low RTP percentage makes it a tough game to play on face value. For me, this is a slot which didn't quite hit the mark. • Game-play: 11 / 20 - The biggest issue with the Winsanity slot is that it has a low Return to Player (RTP) value for players and this does impact how enjoyable the game is. Wins tend to be fewer and the ones you land tend to be the lower value ones and this does give players the feeling that the game play is a little too punitive at times. You never get the feeling that this is a slot that is ripe to pay you with a big prize.
• Bonus Features: 9 / 20 - There is just one bonus feature on the Winsanity slot and that is the Wild Multipliers and they do offer the best chance of landing a sizeable win in the game.
