Presentation

The five reels are presented in the format of what appears to be a large barn on the farm and outside the barn are an assortment of various farm items. The main controls of the slot are on the right-hand side of the reels with Auto Play, Spin and Bet Max buttons available depending on which you want to use to play the game.

One of the best features of the Cash Cow slot is that it consists of many other bonus features in addition to the ones outlined above.

Best feature of the Cash Cow slot

With so many different bonuses and features to pick from, singling out which is the best one on the Cash Cow slot is a little difficult. The Free Spins bonus being randomly triggered sounds like a great idea, but it can be difficult to hit and doesn't seem to land as often as a game where the bonus is triggered by landing scatter symbols. As such, I'm not quite sure that this bonus works as well as in other games.

The best feature I think therefore is the sheer number of bonuses available. There are so many that triggering one is always possible on any spin. What does the Cash Cow slot lack?

In terms of features and bonus games, I don't think the Cash Cow slot lacks anything at all. Where it does lack a little for me is in engagement. The idea of a Cash Cow is particularly relevant to slot gaming, but I think that the Cash Cow is somewhat underused in the game and doesn't feature as prevalently as it should. The slot as a result is a little aimless and more about a farm, than this mythical Cash Cow creature and I think that makes it a little less enticing as a result.

Conclusion

Cash Cow is an interesting slot that is absolutely jam-packed full of bonus features to trigger and this does make every spin more exciting as one or more bonuses are always available to be triggered, even if one has just recently been played through. The base game works well enough but it is in the bonus features that the slot comes alive. I just feel that the eponymous Cash Cow doesn't feature quite as often in the slot as perhaps it should, especially with it being the title of the game. That said, this is a fun slot to play, although as I stated at the start of the review, the music personally wasn't to my taste and had me reaching for the mute button in double-quick time.

• Presentation: 13 / 20 - The presentation of the Cash Cow slot is nice enough and certainly ticks the main boxes. The graphics are neatly designed and the music, well some people will love it, others won't and I fell into the latter. That said, it does fit the game nicely and the way the slot is set out with the buttons on the right is different to usual too. The presentation was nice, but not perhaps the very best that you can find on a modern slot.
• Game-Play: 15 / 20 -The game-play on the Cash Cow slot is good fun as the base game offers a nice mix of wins and there is always a chance you can trigger one of the many bonus features in the game which does add extra spice to each spin. You can trigger some decent wins in the base game, especially when you play all 50 pay lines but for the main part you are generally trying to activate the bonus features to give you a shot at a bigger value win.
• Bonus features: 19 / 20 - When it comes to bonus features, this is almost as good as you will get from a modern slot. This game is packed with them and there are so many that you are never a huge amount of spins from triggering one of the bonuses. They do offer varying payouts, with some very small which can be frustrating, but the sheer number and variance in the bonus games makes this a hugely enjoyable slot to play.
• Entertainment factor: 13 / 20 - Cash Cow is an enjoyable slot that has plenty of great bonuses but the base game is a little repetitive at times and not particularly exciting. The bonus games do lift the slot a great deal but if you get stuck in a rut of base game spins it can subtract a lot of excitement from playing the slot and leave you feeling like you are simply throwing your money into the slot, and getting little back in return.

• Overall 69 / 100 - Cash Cow is a bit of a mix of a slot, it has an immense amount of bonus features which are well worth trying to trigger, but the base game can be a tad expensive to play through at times and you often don't feel like your efforts are rewarded fulsomely enough. That's a shame as in terms of bonuses and themes, this is a great slot and one that deserves to be played as widely as possible.
